Aimee specialises in the movement of Yoga, Pilates and Fitness and best describes her work as ‘active alignment’. Drawing from her studies of both western anatomical knowledge and Iyengar based yoga, she provides arefully designed safe conditioning programs for all body types and physical ailments.

At the age of ten, she started teaching Ballet and realized her passion for helping others. This passion became the foundation of a professional teaching career. 

Aimee has worked with a variety of Wellness Studios, Health Clubs, Gyms, clinics and Retreats all over the world.

She confidently teaches a diverse repertoire of movement and creates a balanced approach of technical and energetic sequencing into all classes.

Aimee has niched as a rehabilitation specialist and works with athletes in movement biomechanics, correct muscle firing and reprograming movement habits.

Aimee's journey began over a decade ago in Australia when she studied a diploma in fitness and worked as a personal trainer who specialized in rehabilitation and the psychology behind weight loss.

She progressed into gym management where her positive personality was found motivating the participants of her Aerobic, Pump, Step, Spin and other group exercise classes in London.

Her open mind and free spirit soon left the corporate city scene to soul search in the land of India. Here she further developed the study of body and mind, participating in therapy focused Yoga TTCs, Iyenga intensives and traditional Mediation Retreats.

Aimee's love of learning has drawn her study globally under Advanced Yoga Practitioners and complete specialised courses and conferences in Pilates, fitness and movement.

After falling in love with the practice of alignment Aimee has further studied under many international Senior Iyengar teachers in India, Indonesia and Australia.

Aimee continues her education within this linear by in traveling to India to learn from those who have studied with BKS Iyengar himself.

JOSEPH PILATES

After a serious hip injury that shattered the hopes of a professional contemporary dance career, at the young age of fifteen in the hope to heal, Aimee hung up her ballet shoes for a Pilates Reformer bed.

She began instructing Mat Pilates Classes in 2008 and progressed into working alongside Physios in exercise programming and now conducts group / private reformer classes.

Aimee continues her education in Western anatomical knowledge by participating in course and workshops with worldwide recognised bodies.

BUDDHISTS MEDITATION

After a introduction to insight from a 10 day silent Vipasana course , Aimee’s inquire has lead her to study the Tibetan Buddhist teachings leading her to explore the path of Dzogchen Meditation.  With all teaching open her to path of self inquiry in exploration of her own Buddha-nature from the Mahayana traditions.
